The Bookkeeper will support the accounting department by maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers; ad hoc reporting; and performing general bookkeeping.

This position is remote (work from home) and part-time, 15 to 20 hours per week. QuickBooks experience is required. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries
  • Complete general ledger operations
  • Ensures financial data is entered correctly and accurately
  • Records numerical and financial data to produce financial records
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare monthly financial reports
  • Assist with month-end/year-end closings
  • Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Account/bank reconciliations
  • Other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • QuickBooks experience
  • 0-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Capacity and commitment to work 15-20 hours a week
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Great attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Great customer relation skills
  • Strong work ethic
